Audi has weathered the economic downturn better than most and is now the best selling premium brand in the UK. In doing this Audi has also overtaken its biggest rival BMW. Internal Audi staff are bullish about its sales performance, which altough down year on year has halved the drop in sales against BMW and showed better performance than all of its other rival manufacturers.
UK Carline General Manager Simon Booth commented" we have seen demand for Audi vehicles remain high and the biggest problem we experience is the availability of stock. We are always taking steps to secure stock by ordering the desirable models in advance so hopefully people dont experience long delays"
