UK Carline's National Sales Manger Darren Godbert successfully completed the 3 peaks challenge on Saturday 10th October. The team consisting of Darren and other representatives of the Motor Trade took on the challenge to raise money for various good causes. Starting at Ben Nevis at 4 pm Friday evening the walkers faced there biggest challenge, Snow and high winds meant the wind chill factor on the top of Ben Nevis was a shocking -15. Then on to Scarfell pike where the weather was not much better and the team finished the full Horseshoe of Snowdonia by the 4 pm Saturday deadline. We are not convinced the night of Karaoke in a small welsh village was in the original plan, but the singing added to the beer and aches made for a good nights sleep for all. Darren has raised his money for the North West Air Ambulance, who fortunately the team did not need to call upon. We wait to see what next years challenge will be!
