SAAB Bankruptcy not the end

In an effort to seperate themselves from the General Motors issues SAAB will probably take some drastic measures. But UK Carline have been assured that SAAB have a commitment to the new models scheduled over the next few years. Warranties will remain covered, the UK dealer network will remain but there will be some pain in the short term. Saab owners should not be concerned as it is "business as usual" but at boardroom level SAAB has some work to do. There will be some concern over the detriment caused to the brand in europe but for SAAB to regain its standing it needs to move away from some of the un popular GM brands. As many of the brands in the motor indsustry are owned by another, this step could secure independant thinking and production of cars to match customers requirements in the future.
